Volunteer Opportunity: Hospice Companion (Beacon of Hope Hospice)
Beacon of Hope Hospice is seeking caring individuals to provide companionship to patients receiving hospice care. This is a non-medical role focused on simple, meaningful connection.
Responsibilities:
- Conversation and socialization
- Reading or listening to music together
- Providing a calm, supportive presence
Commitment:
- As little as 1 hour per week
- Flexible scheduling
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Background check (fingerprinting may be required)
