Project Manager - Houston, TX

Role Overview The Project Manager is responsible for managing new store openings, remodels, relocations, expansions, and acquisition projects across North America. The role oversees projects from initial planning through final completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time, within budget, and in alignment with company standards. Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and control the approved capital budget for each project. Ensure best practices are followed, including quality, health, and safety considerations. Work closely with and support the wider Project Team to deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as needed. Collaborate effectively with project and design teams, continually reviewing and developing improvements. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and create contingency plans as required. Partner with project team members and contractors, assuming accountability for their assigned work. Perform additional duties and projects as required. Experience and Skills Full knowledge of construction around retail and experience in the shop fit industry, including processes, project management, and strict budget adherence. Prior project management experience with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects across a number of group facias, keeping them on budget and delivering them on time and to a high standard. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and across departments. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Adaptability to real‑time situations and ability to adjust accordingly. Self‑motivated and driven, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Required Education and Experience Relevant bachelor’s degree or Project Management qualification. Technical and IT Skills Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft or Google Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Physical Demands Requirements include sitting for more than 6 hours per shift, using hands and arms for handling and reaching, walking or moving among locations, occasional climbing or stooping, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with the company’s policies are required.
