Title
Surgical Tech - Surgical Technology

Schedule
Shift: Variable Shift 0630 - 1700; potential for 0900 - 1930. Call is self-scheduling for the tech, typically averaging 7 shifts per month, including weekends. Weekday call starts at 5 PM until 0630. Weekend call usually once per month, can be broken up.

Requirements
- Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology
- Relevant acute care experience
- National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certification (preferred)
- AHA BLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile field.
- Ensure the availability of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Manage and maintain surgical instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain a safe environment during surgery.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and surgical procedures.
