Full-time

Sales Xceleration Recruiting

Fundraising Sales Consultant

Remote | Western U.S. Territory | $150K OTE

Sell something that actually makes an impact.

What if your next sales role combined relationship-building, events, travel, autonomy and meaningful work—while still giving you the opportunity to earn at a high level?

We’re partnering with a growing organization that helps nonprofits and charitable organizations raise more money through memorable fundraising and auction experiences.

They’re looking for a relationship-driven Fundraising Sales Consultant to grow their presence across the Western U.S. This is a true business development role for someone who loves meeting people, opening doors, building a network and turning relationships into long-term business.

Build relationships—not just a call list.

This role combines new-business hunting with relationship selling. Yes, you'll prospect and create opportunities, but you'll also develop business through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, fundraising events, venues, event planners and strategic partnerships.

You'll have the autonomy to own and grow your territory while representing a premium, high-touch fundraising solution. And you'll get to see the impact of what you sell firsthand—helping organizations create successful events and ultimately raise more money for the causes they serve.

Base Salary: $65,000–$75,000

Flexibility: Up to approximately $80,000–$85,000 for an exceptional candidate

OTE: Approximately $150,000+

Travel: Approximately 10% regional travel

Location: Remote within the Western U.S.

Preferred markets: Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ. Candidates throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

You'll take ownership of developing new business throughout your territory while building meaningful relationships across the nonprofit and fundraising community.

  • Identify and develop new nonprofit, charity and fundraising-event opportunities
  • Build relationships with nonprofit leaders, event planners, venues and strategic partners
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, LinkedIn prospecting and outbound outreach
  • Turn relationships and referrals into qualified opportunities and new clients
  • Respond quickly to inbound and company-generated leads
  • Build and execute a territory growth strategy
  • Deliver engaging presentations and proposals
  • Lead opportunities through negotiation and close
  • Become a trusted resource to nonprofit organizations looking to maximize fundraising results
  • Attend select fundraising events and provide onsite auction support when needed
  • Use events to meet people, build relationships and create future business
  • Maintain an organized pipeline, CRM activity and accurate forecasting
  • Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service, responsiveness and follow-through

Who We're Looking For

We're less interested in finding someone who simply checks boxes and more interested in finding someone who knows how to build relationships and turn those relationships into business.

  • A proven salesperson or business developer with approximately 3–5+ years of experience
  • A natural relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys meeting new people
  • Comfortable hunting for new business and creating opportunities from scratch
  • Skilled at networking and developing referral relationships
  • Confident prospecting through LinkedIn, referrals, events and outbound outreach
  • Motivated by goals with a demonstrated history of generating revenue
  • Engaging, polished and comfortable presenting to clients and partners
  • Persistent without being transactional or overly aggressive
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory
  • Organized, responsive and reliable
  • Comfortable working remotely and traveling approximately 10% for regional events
  • Someone who understands that trust and reputation are often what ultimately win the business

We'd also love to meet people coming from luxury hospitality, hotels and resorts, event sales, event planning, experiential sales, sponsorships, nonprofit business development, premium services or other relationship-driven industries.

An established network within the nonprofit, fundraising, event, venue or hospitality community would be especially valuable.

This is an opportunity to build something.

You'll have a territory to grow, autonomy in how you develop it, and the opportunity to create a powerful professional network along the way.

You'll also be selling a service connected to something bigger than a transaction. The organizations you work with are raising money for causes, communities and missions that matter—and your work helps them do it successfully.

If you're a hunter who believes the best business is still built through relationships, trust, showing up and doing what you say you're going to do, we'd love to meet you.
