Behavioral Technician – Cape May County, NJ ($300 Sign-On Bonus) Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We serve families across the state of New Jersey and are currently seeking dedicated Behavioral Technicians to join our Cape May County team. Job Summary As a Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Providers typically work 5–20 hours per week, with 2–4 hour shifts primarily scheduled in the evenings. Services are hands-off, emotionally supportive, and designed to promote client alertness, engagement, and emotional well-being. Roles & Responsibilities Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families Ensure the safety and well-being of the client Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns Submit visit notes promptly following each session in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines Respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies Engage clients in interest-based activities to support growth and awareness Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available) High School Diploma required Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred but not required. Bonus Structure: $150 issued after 45 days of active case assignment $150 issued after an additional 60 days Must meet all eligibility criteria throughout the bonus period Eligibility Criteria To qualify for the sign-on bonus, employees must: Complete all onboarding and orientation requirements Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 2–3 assigned clients Stay actively engaged and attend all scheduled sessions Remain in good standing throughout the bonus period Definition of Good Standing An employee is considered in good standing if they: Consistently meet performance expectations and documentation deadlines Have no active Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or disciplinary actions Maintain effective communication with supervisors and families Comply with all attendance policies and case responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
