As a Field Service Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on tactical or commercial diesel platforms and is capable of supporting new vehicle launch activities on programs such as the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) and other multi-vehicle configurations. This role requires strong diagnostic abilities and detailed documentation of root cause, repair actions, and engineering issues. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training. This is a DEPLOY ONLY role working overseas on a 90 day rotation basis.Responsibilities:Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on complex aerospace and defense systems.Diagnose and resolve the most challenging technical issues.Experience with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), Humvee, LTV, or other military tactical vehicles.Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.Knowledge of Military/DoD/DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.Experience collaborating with engineering teams during prototyping or product improvement cycles.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all field activities and equipment status.Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.Oversee inventory management for spare parts and tools.Generate comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.Travel extensively to customer sites, potentially including international locations.Qualifications You Must Have:High school diploma or GED equivalent.3+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publicationsProgressive experience using troubleshooting techniques and repair radar and communication systems in various environments, including both fixed locations and deployed environments.Hands-on background in vehicle maintenance, repair, overhaul, or sustainment of diesel or military vehicles.Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Background in networking, radar, communicationsStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read complex drawings, and proficiency with precision tools.Thorough understanding of electrical wiring conceptsProvide technical support for computer systems and networks.Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices.Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of timeAn active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredCurrent/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationallySuccessfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessmentAbility to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locationsAbility to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required60 hour work week.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience with FCC or FCC GROLPrior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+ASE certification (Automotive Service Excellence), ideally in diesel engines or medium/heavy truck.Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.Knowledge of DoD/DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
