HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Dallas, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Accountability for their actions

· Cardiac drips knowledge (Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Cardizem)

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Great communicator between patients and interdisciplinary team

· 6-months PCU experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Days post CABG, AVR/MVR, aortic root repairs, LVAD, immediate post VATS (chest tubes)

· Post Vascular surgeries, pre/post cath lab and EP procedures (pacemaker/AICD, heart caths, PCIs, TAVR)

· Bedside procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC insertion)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS, ACLS
