Operations & Property Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented person to help manage the day-to-day operations of a growing real estate company.

The company manages apartment and commercial properties, provides commercial real estate brokerage services, and is actively acquiring new real estate and business opportunities. This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to grow.

Responsibilities

Handle tenant calls and emails
Coordinate vendors, repairs, and work orders
Post vacancies and help manage rental applications
Manage company social media profiles
Coordinate accounts payable with bookkeeping
Print checks and assist with monthly financial reviews
Communicate with property owners by phone and email
Conduct property visits every two weeks, requiring approximately 4 hours of driving per week
Coordinate vacancy marketing with Leo, the Transaction Coordinator
Coordinate commercial brokerage marketing with Leo
Work with Leo on client follow-ups, brokerage transactions, documents, and deadlines
Help the owner stay organized with reminders, client gifts, follow-ups, and occasional executive or administrative tasks

Qualifications

Strong interest in real estate
Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Comfortable using computers and business software
AppFolio experience is a plus
California real estate license preferred, or willingness to obtain one
Reliable transportation for property visits
Comfortable working from the Oakdale office
