Global Trade Compliance Senior Manager

Amgen seeks a Global Trade Compliance Senior Manager to lead strategic trade compliance programs across sanctions, export controls, and restricted-party screening. The role involves managing counterparty screening frameworks, clinical trial customs valuation, and high-risk escalations while partnering with cross-functional teams globally. Based in multiple locations, this position drives compliance innovation through automation and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead global trade compliance program including sanctions, export controls, and restricted-party screening
• Serve as primary escalation point for high-risk screening alerts and complex ownership determinations
• Manage global clinical trial customs valuation program and annual true-up process
• Support strategic business initiatives including acquisitions, product launches, and supply chain changes
• Drive process innovation using automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years compliance, screening, risk management, regulatory, audit, or legal experience
• Deep knowledge of BIS and OFAC sanctions regulations and 50 Percent Rule
• Experience conducting ownership due diligence and beneficial ownership investigations
• Proficiency with sanctions and trade compliance platforms such as Dow Jones or Descartes
• Strong analytical, writing, and executive communication skills
• Healthcare or life sciences industry experience preferred
