About This Role

Creative Learning Preschool is seeking a full-time Substitute Teacher to join our team. This position provides the opportunity to work with a variety of classrooms and age groups throughout the preschool.

The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and enjoys working with young children. Substitute teachers help provide consistent, high-quality care when classroom teachers are absent while gaining experience across our program.

Joining Creative Learning Preschool means becoming part of a supportive, professional, and collaborative work environment. CLP is committed to creating a nurturing environment that supports the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development of every child. We work closely with families to build a community that empowers children, encourages a positive sense of self, fosters empathy, and celebrates diversity.

CLP provides care for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K/4K and also offers a summer camp program for children ages 6–12.

Our program is grounded in a play-based HighScope curriculum. Teachers create weekly lesson plans that take advantage of our downtown location and the many resources in our neighborhood, including local parks, the library, Farmers' Market, Capitol lawn, and nearby museums.
