As a Security Officer Front Desk Check In in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for tenants, visitors, and vendors. You will support access control, monitor lobby activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, issue visitor credentials, and communicate access requirements in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, tenant or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established response protocols.
- Assist with communications between building management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership to support a professional and welcoming lobby environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
