Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels and, keeping appropriate records and documentation.

Senior Pharmacy Technician

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Current registration in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician.

Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.

Minimum of 6 months of Pharmacy Technician III experience at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Additional Certification(s) may also be required depending upon the needs and activities of the assigned department/division.

Salary Range: Minimum $28.07/hour - Maximum $32.57/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
