Advanced Practice Provider (CRNP, PA-C) - Neurosurgery - 18318

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join our dynamic neurosurgery team. This role involves comprehensive patient management across the continuum of care, including inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic responsibilities, and surgical assistance in the OR. You will work closely with our board-certified neurosurgeons and residents, utilizing your independent judgment and expertise to provide top-tier care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations for new and follow-up patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Order, interpret, and correlate diagnostic tests and imaging studies (MRI, CT scans, etc.), formulating differential diagnoses and comprehensive treatment plans. Serve as a first assist in the operating room for various neurosurgical procedures, including spine and cranial cases, performing duties such as wound closure. Manage preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education, wound care, and pain management. Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as necessary, managing acute and chronic neurological conditions under the supervision of an attending physician. Facilitate and communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure seamless continuity of care. Document all patient care within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) accurately and in a timely manner.
