RN - Interventional Radiology

Radiology Department Position

Location: Radiology Department - *** Hospital

8:30A - 4:30P

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care.

Assess and evaluate patient care needs and apply critical thinking skills in patient care management.

Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Prioritize all aspects of patient care including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning "after hospital care."

Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, promotion of health, and prevention of disease.

Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family, and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team.

Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.

Role model the tenets of Relationship Centered Care (MSHRCC) through various facilitation actions.

Requirements:

Must have 2 years of interventional radiology experience.

NYS RN License.

BLS, ACLS certifications.

Minimum 2 years of ambulatory, radiation safety, and post-procedural care experience.

Minimum 2 years RN experience.

Preferred Skills:

EPIC experience highly preferred.
