Senior General Ledger Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supervising a GL Accountant and managing various accounting functions, the full-time Senior General Ledger Accountant will oversee accrued expenses, AP aging, contractor payments, and fixed assets while supporting the monthly close process and audit compliance in a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain accrual workbooks, prepare monthly journal entries, and reconcile accrued expense accounts Manage the monthly AP aging review and resolve aged AP items in collaboration with the AP Specialist Process Deel contractor invoices and maintain related accrual workbooks and journal entries Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and accrual accounting Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred, but not required
