Associate Advisor

We are an independent wealth management firm in Morton, IL with a clear growth track, and we are hiring an Associate Financial Advisor to begin client-facing work on day one - with a structured path to full advisor status within 12 months.

What you'll do

• Sit in on and actively participate in client meetings alongside us from your first weeks
• Learn and apply our firm's planning and investment process across a range of client situations
• Build relationships with our existing clients through follow-up, service requests, and proactive outreach
• Support our preparation of financial plans, portfolio reviews, and client presentations
• Develop your own book of business as you progress toward the full advisor transition milestone
• Absorb compliance, documentation, and operational best practices under our direct mentorship
• Take on increasing client responsibility over 12 months with our oversight

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field - or equivalent work experience
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills
• Genuine interest in a long-term career in financial planning or wealth management
• Ability to work full-time onsite at our Morton, IL office (Peoria metro area)

Nice to have

• Progress toward or completion of Series 65, Series 7, or CFP designation
• Prior experience in financial services, banking, or client-facing roles
• Comfort with financial planning software or CRM tools
• Demonstrated self-motivation through internships, sales experience, or other results-oriented work

Pay & benefits

• Base salary: $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience
• Performance bonus after year one
