Assistant Purchasing & SOM Manager

Hybrid after training (2 days remote/week)
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Purchasing & SOM Manager to support purchasing, supply chain, and sales order operations. This role ensures timely procurement, accurate order processing, supplier coordination, and strong cross-functional collaboration while helping lead and develop team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor sourcing, and MRP analysis
- Coordinate supplier performance, cost reduction, and escalation resolution
- Oversee sales order entry, backlog tracking, deliveries, and customer inquiries
- Maintain pricing and ERP records with accuracy and compliance
- Train, coach, and support Buyer and SOM team members
- Collaborate with Sales, QA, Logistics, IT, and suppliers to improve operations
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Business
- 8+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
- 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Semiconductor or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong ERP/MRP, Microsoft Office, communication, and organizational skills
