Job Summary:

Performs specialized mammography examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Operates advanced imaging equipment and provides patient-centered clinical care while ensuring high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conducts diagnostic and screening mammograms as ordered by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Prepares patients for procedures while promoting privacy and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Assists radiologists with complex mammography procedures, including biopsies.
  
  
• 
  Produces clear, diagnostic-quality images and completes thorough documentation.
  
  
• 
  Educates patients on the exam process and post-procedure instructions.
  
  
• 
  Adheres to infection control, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of two years recent mammography technologist experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Valid Radiologic Technologist License (OBMI) in Oregon required.
  
  
• 
  ARRT-Mammography certification required in Oregon; preferred in CA and HI.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification from an approved provider.
  
  
• 
  Strong technical skills and attention to detail in imaging procedures.
