As a Personal Banker within PNC’s Retail Banking organization, you will be based at 602 N Main St, Creedmoor, NC 27522. PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. Job Description Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet. Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty. Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions. Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community centers of influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately. Expectations Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Managing Risk – Assess and effectively manage all of the risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Qualifications Preferred Skills: Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience (CX), Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales. Competencies: Banking Products, Digital Awareness, Effective Communications, Managing Multiple Priorities, Matrix Management, Problem Solving, Prospecting, Retail Lending, Selling, Understanding Customer Needs. Work Experience: 3+ years experience at this level, associate or equivalent degree, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Education: No degree required. Certifications: None required. Licenses: Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
