Summary Getting started in real estate can feel very different once you move from studying the business to actually working with clients. EO&A is looking for a Real Estate Showing Assistant who wants to gain hands-on experience working with buyers while learning alongside experienced real estate professionals. This opportunity is a good fit for someone who is newly licensed or actively working toward their California real estate license and wants a structured path into the business. Once licensed, you'll support agents on the EO&A team by coordinating and conducting property showings, communicating with buyers, learning local inventory, and helping provide a professional client experience. Candidates who are currently working toward their California real estate license are welcome to apply. An active California real estate license is required before performing Showing Assistant duties. Responsibilities Once licensed and eligible to perform Showing Assistant duties, you will: Coordinate and conduct property showings for buyers working with EO&A agents Communicate with buyers before, during, and after property tours Help organize showing schedules and property itineraries Learn about each buyer's needs and priorities and communicate relevant feedback to the lead agent Develop knowledge of local inventory, neighborhoods, and market activity Provide prompt, professional follow-up after showings Maintain accurate client notes and updates in the team's CRM Communicate regularly with lead agents about buyer activity and feedback Attend inspections and other buyer appointments when appropriate Learn how experienced agents guide buyers through the home-search and purchase process Participate in training, coaching, role-play, and accountability Develop the communication, organization, and client-service skills needed to grow in real estate Requirements We're looking for someone who: Holds an active California real estate license or is actively working toward obtaining one Understands that an active California real estate license is required before performing Showing Assistant duties Is serious about developing a career in real estate Enjoys working with people and providing a high level of client service Is organized, dependable, responsive, and punctual Communicates professionally with clients and team members Is willing to develop strong knowledge of local inventory and communities Is receptive to coaching, feedback, role-play, and accountability Is comfortable learning and consistently using CRM and real estate technology Has reliable transportation Is comfortable driving to properties and meeting clients for appointments once licensed Understands that working with buyers may require schedule flexibility, including some evenings and weekends Works well as part of a team Previous real estate production experience isn't required. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn, practice, and consistently develop their skills. Compensation & Licensing This is a commission-based real estate position. There is no hourly wage or base salary. An active California real estate license is required before performing Showing Assistant duties and participating in transaction-related activities associated with this position. Once licensed, agents are responsible for maintaining their California real estate license and for any applicable professional expenses, including but not limited to membership in the appropriate local REALTOR® association/board and Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Specific commission terms and eligibility will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Responsibilities Graduate from PLACE New Agent Launch Work with sales agent to guide their clients to homes Provide detailed, written feedback to confirm or refine clients' search criteria Write and negotiate offers on behalf of the sales agent and clients Lead generate a minimum of 10 hours a week Participate in weekly script practice per team standards Participate in team activities per team standards Commit to weekly 1:1 coaching session, weekly trainings and Partner Call Track tasks and activities in PLACE Technology Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
