Financial Controller

Currently looking for a Controller of a rapidly growing manufacturer of consumer goods to lead accounting, financial reporting, controls, and finance operations. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership and play a critical role in supporting growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, fixed assets, and cash management. Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes across the organization. Support operations, supply chain, procurement, and commercial teams on inventory, costing, margin improvement, and business performance initiatives. Develop and mentor the accounting team while building scalable processes to support company growth. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, and finance process automation. Desired Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred. 10-15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, or Accounting Director experience. Experience within food & beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), consumer products, food manufacturing, ingredients, beverage, or closely related industries. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing accounting, and financial controls. Proven track record leading audits, month-end close, and financial reporting functions. ERP experience required; experience with mid-market or enterprise systems preferred. Private equity-backed, founder-led, or high-growth environments are highly valued. #J-18808-Ljbffr
