Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse

Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse Per Diem Center for Special Surgery is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. The nurse may assist physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and the use of sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. The role provides comprehensive patient care for patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
