Details\n \n Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access hospital with 23 total staff beds \n General Emergency Department serving combined adult/pediatric patients \n Patient ratio of 1:5 \n Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00) \n Rotating weekends required \n Floating between units required \n No on-call responsibilities \n Uses Epic charting system \n Any color scrubs permitted for RN/Allied staff \n No parking fees \n Requirements\n \n Active WA or compact RN license required at time of consideration \n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (NRP preferred) \n Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience required \n Epic charting experience preferred \n Skills in pediatrics, abdominal pain, asthma, hyperglycemia, infection, mental/behavioral health conditions, respiratory infection, and seizures \n Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, and starting/maintaining IVs \n Experience with emergency medications and IV vasopressors \n Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management \n Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE and triage \n Experience identifying and reporting neglect or abuse \n 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years \n Full SSN and DOB required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions including psychiatric, respiratory, neurological, and orthopedic presentations \n May float between sister facilities near the contracted location \n Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) \n RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated \n First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility \n Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate \n Local radius rule of 50 miles applies \n Candidates should not contact facility staff directly outside of scheduled interviews \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-754797.
