Job Title: Full-Time T&D/Substation Estimator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented T&D Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating costs associated with electrical power transmission and distribution projects. This includes developing accurate project cost estimates, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing to the successful planning and execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for transmission and distribution (T&D) projects, including substation design and construction.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, specifications, and other necessary details.

• Analyze and interpret RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations) to develop project plans and budgets.

• Develop project schedules and identify resource requirements to ensure feasibility and accuracy of cost estimates.

• Monitor project budgets and provide updates to ensure alignment with financial goals.

• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and team members to address potential challenges and propose solutions.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools to create detailed reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or related roles, particularly in T&D or similar industries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in T&D or related industries.

• Proficiency in interpreting and responding to RFPs and RFQs.

• Strong knowledge of substation design principles and related systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
