About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Previous charge experience preferred Patient ratio experience of 6:1 Description: This is a 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor. Locals are accepted at the same rate. BLS and a minimum of 2 years of experience are required. Candidates must possess skills in accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration. Experience in managing central lines and chest tubes is essential. Knowledge of colostomy and ileostomy care is necessary. Proficiency in handling CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) patients and feeding tube management is expected. Candidates should be familiar with heparin administration, high flow nasal cannula, and insulin management. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are required. A solid understanding of telemetry and wound care is important for this role. Floating may be requested based on the needs of the facility. Candidates should have experience in patient ratios of 6:1 during day and night shifts. Specialty experience within the last year is required.
