Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse position in a healthcare facility setting. The role involves monitoring and providing care for patients with cardiac, neurological, and stroke diagnoses on a night shift schedule. The position requires clinical expertise in neurological and cardiac care, along with the ability to manage telemetry equipment and titrate infusions as necessary.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum 2 years of recent experience in neurological and cardiac care; valid nursing license; flexibility to work night shifts; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include caring for patients with neurological, cardiac, or seizure-related diagnoses, reading cardiac strips utilizing GE telemetry monitors, and troubleshooting respiratory therapy devices such as High Flow and BiPAP.
• Requires completion of a 3-shift orientation and adherence to dress code of navy blue scrubs.
• Note: Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:6, with staffing including Licensed Practical Nurses and patient care technicians.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission requirements include licensure to submit.
