Phlebotomist Float

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or completed training program; or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 5 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Must be at least 21 years old. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all benefits listed above except PTO or FTO. Additional Information Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
