Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit serving cardiac and acute inpatient populations
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5–6 patients on night shift
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to cardiac changes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
• Participate in 1 call shift per 8-week block and work every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry or related acute inpatient setting
• Demonstrated experience in cardiac and telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute inpatient environment
