Passionately in pursuit of the perfect beer… and never satisfied.Job Summary:The part-time Brand Ambassador will attend events on behalf of Firestone Walker Brewing Company where our brands (Firestone Walker, Mind Haze, 805, and Cali Squeeze) are represented. The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for setting up equipment and displays, pouring beer, handing out materials and educating consumers on our brands. These events can vary from surf contests, tasting events, or music festivals, with activations ranging from a small single day event with low attendance to a multi-day highly attended event.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:Maintain general brewing and brand knowledge of specific Firestone Walker brewing information and brandsAssist and run off-site events in areas where Firestone Walker beer is sold or brands are represented as assigned by the Field Marketing ManagerSecure and transport beer, retail, or event equipment to and from event sitesSet up, break down and clean pouring stations at event sitesPour beer tastings while engaging and educating consumers at eventsUnderstand basic maintenance of event equipment that is utilizedUnderstand and be able to answer basic questions about general beer knowledge, Firestone Walker products and brands, and the company itselfEnsure FW brand standards are followed at all eventsAssist with account promotions as neededHelp identify local influencers within assigned regionReport to and remain in regular correspondence with the Field Marketing Manager no less than once a month to check-inOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High School Diploma or equivalent with prior experience and knowledge in marketing, branding, and draft operations. Some prior experience working and/or planning events and pouring beer.Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Responsible Beverage Service certification. Documentation showing you are legally able to drive.Extremely friendly and outgoing. Ability to appeal to consumers and convince them why they should buy our product.Strong organizational skills, and solid decision-making skills.
