RN - ER Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 Years Required License: Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Required; TNCC Preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred; charting system experience preferred Description:The position involves functioning as a registered nurse in an emergency room setting.The traveler will float to a free-standing emergency department as needed.Shifts will be variable, with start times at 10 AM, 11 AM, or 1 PM.Weekend work is required, with every other weekend expected.Candidates must be seasoned travelers with strong clinical skills.BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are mandatory, while TNCC certification is preferred.The unit will consider blocked scheduling based on the manager's discretion.Candidates should be comfortable floating without restrictions.The facility will allow for call-offs during the assignment.The typical daily census is around 70, with a focus on a mixed patient demographic.The emergency department handles a variety of cases, including behavioral health and trauma.Interdisciplinary support is available for patient care.Orientation modules are provided during the first week, and successful completion is necessary.Candidates must be available to work two recognized holidays during the assignment.The average patient ratio is 1:5 during both day and night shifts.Travel experience is required for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
