Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely records.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and emergency response techniques.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and prioritize care based on patient acuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting.
• Active Indiana or compact nursing license.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

Schedule

This position requires the ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts. The schedule will include working at multiple locations as needed within the region.

Start Date

Position is set to begin in September.
