Compensation: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.

Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology , along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults/children facing neurological disorders, including issues related to language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing. The candidate should also be capable of working independently within the department.
- A valid Speech Pathology license in the state (where applicable) or actively acquiring the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
- Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
- Preferred membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.
Your Responsibilities
The Speech Therapist will deliver ongoing therapy to clients as per physician directives, ensuring timely communication regarding resident progress within the agency. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and treat clients, liaise with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Assess clients and develop effective treatment plans as requested by physicians, securing approval for services.
- Initiate prescribed treatments and keep physicians informed about client progress.
- Ensure proper documentation in compliance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
- Adhere to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
- Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

ExperiencePreferred:
- 1 year of experience working with adults/children with neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.

- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
