In partnership with the USDA and NCDA, the Cooperative Grading Service ensures fair, reliable grading for fruits, vegetables, and peanuts statewide. As a Maintenance/Construction Technician III, you’ll take on advanced maintenance and repair of specialized grading equipment, including Farmer Stock (FS) peanut machinery. You’ll work hands-on with fabrication, welding, and equipment such as Pneumatic and Automatic Samplers using articulating lifts—sometimes at heights up to 50 feet. This role also requires strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software, and the ability to generate letters and reports to support daily operations.
