Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular (IR CV) Technologist position in Austell, Georgia. This role involves performing interventional procedures in a hybrid setting, requiring independence and proficiency in vascular and cardiac special procedures. The candidate will work day shifts, with responsibilities including patient positioning, radiation safety, and demonstrating competency in advanced interventional techniques.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, four 10-hour shifts per week, with on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response time. Max 14 days scheduled out of a 30-day period.
• Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire, including ARRT (Cardiovascular Intervention (CV), Radiography (R), or Vascular Intervention (VI)) or RCIS, and BLS. Additionally, ACLS certification is preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience in interventional special procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings.
• Required Skills: Ability to function independently during procedures after proper orientation and competency assessment; proficiency in all aspects of interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, and anatomy knowledge; effective communication skills in English; positive attitude.
• Additional Information: The role requires experience in cath lab procedures with specified competencies; candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of anatomy and pathology as they relate to procedures.
