Senior Accountant

We’re Hiring: Senior Accountant We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries; investigate and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal departments. Active participation and contribution in all required audits, cost reporting, and tax filings (vat, tax on salaries, Nonresident Tax, NSSF, Income Tax). Ensure audit requirements, cost reports, and tax returns are completed in line with established deadlines. Prepare and submit financial reports within defined timelines. Prepare and follow up on legal documentation related to NSSF compliance in coordination with legal advisors and NSSF representatives. Liaise with banks for routine transactions and documentation requirements. Ensure daily cash closing is performed in accordance with company policies. Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Handle fixed assets register and yearly depreciation. Support external audit processes by preparing required documentation and schedules. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of VAT, taxation, and NSSF regulations. Experience working with multiple entities or group structures is a plus. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
