Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
School Year: August 3, 2026 May 27, 2027
Starting Pay: $70/hour (based on experience)

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in the Newberry, South Carolina area for the 20262027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers a hybrid schedule , allowing you to work four days onsite and one day remotely each week while supporting students across multiple schools.

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

• School Year: August 3, 2026 May 27, 2027

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day work-from-home

• Itinerant position serving 3 schools

• Working with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade

• Approximate caseload of 50 students

• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and well-being

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.

• Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.

• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.

• Assist in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed.

• Support crisis intervention, prevention, and school-based mental health initiatives.

• Collaborate with school staff to promote positive learning environments and student success.

• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.

• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting is preferred.

• Strong assessment, report writing, communication, and consultation skills.

• Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and collaborate effectively across multiple school sites.
