Physical Therapist

We need a Licenses physical therapist either full time or part time.

Full time includes: Monday though Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 1pm with a total of 36 hours. Health benefits are included.

Part time includes: Either Monday/Wednesday 8am to 5pm and Friday 9-1pm for a total of 20 hours a week OR Tuesday/Thursday from 8am to 5pm for a total of 16 hours a week.

San Diego Elite Physical Therapy is an Outpatient Orthopedic clinic with the goal to change the current state of PT. The therapist will see no more than 2 patients per hour (there is currently a PTA and PT aide seeing 2 patients an hour as well with a total of 6 patients in the clinic at a time) . 60 minute treatments are the norm. All treatments will be backed by scientific data. We will never become a "patient mill" as we truly care about our patients getting back to the life or sport that they love. We are looking for an educated and licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their mobility and move forward. You will work closely and under the direction of the physical therapist, treating patients with medical problems or other conditions that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities.

Role Description The Physical Therapist will provide direct patient care in an on-site clinical setting located in El Cajon, CA. This full-time role includes evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities involve guiding patients through rehabilitation exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education on injury prevention and home exercise programs. The Physical Therapist will document assessments and progress notes, collaborate with referring providers and support staff, and actively participate in case discussions to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. The role also includes maintaining a safe treatment environment, adhering to professional and ethical standards, and engaging in continuing education to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Medicine and clinical principles relevant to musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
• Proven skills in Patient Care, including thorough assessments, clear communication, and compassionate, culturally sensitive treatment.
• Experience providing guidance on Home Care programs, including patient education on exercises, self-management, and injury prevention.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage a full caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Preferred experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards.
