Step into a dynamic contract role supporting elementary students in grades K-5 as an Occupational Therapist. This is a full-time assignment starting as soon as possible and continuing through June. You’ll join a dedicated team working to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, supporting their growth and success in the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school or pediatric healthcare setting
• Familiarity with school-based OT practices and regulations
• Strong skills in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, teachers, and families
• Adaptable, reliable, and committed to positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary children in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and measure progress
• Develop treatment goals and interventions tailored to support fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress records
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create supportive environments for students
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school team discussions
