Why JWilliams Staffing Competitive pay based on experience Consistent work opportunities — we keep our techs busy with ongoing assignments Weekly pay — fast and reliable Flexible scheduling with assignments near you NO on‑call, buying material from hardware stores, or roving We do the job searching for you — our team connects you with your next opportunity Immediate openings across Southern California at apartment communities near you Experience as handy‑man, independent contractor, hotel engineer, in construction and other similar service technician roles encouraged to apply Primary Responsibilities General handyman/maintenance experience: basic plumbing, basic electric, light carpentry, painting, and patching drywall Exterior preventative maintenance Complete turnovers and work‑orders in an effective and timely manner Work under direction of Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor Porter/Grounds keeping work during downtime or as needed Requirements 6+ months experience as an Apartment Maintenance/Service Tech strongly desired; hotel engineer, commercial and retail maintenance welcomed Experience with residential plumbing, electrical, hardware installation, painting, troubleshooting & repairs, and other general maintenance Basic tools required (all material will be provided; advanced or specialized equipment provided) Not required but a plus: Experience in HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair & troubleshooting Physical Requirements Ability to safely move in and out of a variety of positions including: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and overhead reaching Capable of performing repetitive movements Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to ascend/descend stairs Equal Opportunity Employer JWilliams Staffing, Inc.
