See contract terms for rate of pay.Essential Functions: Obey all traffic lawsJob ResponsibilitiesAvailable to sub for a regular route bus driver as neededObeys all traffic laws.Observes all mandatory rules and safety regulations for school buses.Performs a pre-trip inspection sheet and submits the form to the transportation office.Maintains discipline when students are on the bus.Reports undisciplined students to the Transportation Manager and the school principal.Keeps assigned bus clean.Keeps assigned time schedule and route as authorized by the Board.Discharges students only at authorized stops.Exercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips or in times of emergency.Transports only authorized students.Reports all accidents and completes required reports.Keeps record of all regular and special trips and submits monthly to the Transportation Manager.Performs such other tasks as the Transportation Manager may assign from time to time.QualificationsValid license to drive a busPass a yearly physical and drug screenPass random drug testingSuch health requirements as the State and the Board may require
