Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg 3E unit. This role requires providing high-quality care to patients with a focus on epilepsy care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling diverse patient needs and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Utilize equipment such as video EEGs, Hoyer lifts, and telemetry machines.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• 3 years or more of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience in epilepsy care is a plus.
