Part Time Front Desk Medical ReceptionistRET Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Part Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our South Lake Union team!Pay Range: ~$19-23/HR20 Hours/Week: Mon - Fri (Flexible hours)Location: Seattle, Washington 98109At Confluent Health and our family of affiliated brands, Care Coordinators are the heartbeat of the clinic. They are the first voice a patient hears and the first face they see. You set the tone for the entire patient experience: organized, warm, and professional from the very first call through every visit. This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same, and where your ability to stay calm, follow through, and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.ResponsibilitiesCreate a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sourcesManage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone callsReview, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next stepsKeep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visitsCollect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when neededProtect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentationQualificationsWhat We're Looking For:You don't need a healthcare background to be great in this role — but you do need to be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes ownership of your work. If you've worked in any customer-facing role and want to build a career in healthcare, we want to hear from you.High School Diploma or GED required1+ year of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role, this could include retail, hospitality, call center, medical reception, or any setting where you regularly interacted with the public in person or over the phoneDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once while staying organized and detail-orientedComfortable and confident communicating on the phone, including handling upset or frustrated callers with patience and professionalismBasic computer proficiency: comfortable learning new systems, navigating scheduling software, sending emails, and working in spreadsheetsNo prior medical experience required — we provide comprehensive training including EMR navigation, insurance fundamentals, scheduling workflows, and phone etiquetteAboutConfluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
