Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Surgical Technician for a 13-week travel assignment to support various surgical specialties, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. The role involves assisting in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring sterile techniques, and supporting surgical teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and available.
• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and comply with hospital policies.
• Monitor and document surgical supplies, equipment, and procedures as required.
• Support on-call and float responsibilities across different units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA CST) required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical settings involving cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, or vascular surgeries.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, instrumentation, and surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to work varied shifts starting at 7:00 AM.
• Candidates with pending state licenses will be reviewed.
