Responsibilities

Candidates should have medical office experience, working knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling systems, and preferably experience with electronic health records. The ideal candidate will also:

• Greet patients in person and by phone with professionalism and compassion.
• Manage check-in and check-out, verify insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments in the EMR system.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete documentation before appointments.
• Coordinate with staff to keep patient flow running smoothly.
• Handle calls, emails, and messages and route them to the right team members.
• Assist with scanning, faxing, and filing medical documents.

Requirements

• Experience in a medical office or customer service role; EMR experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying accurate and detail-oriented.
• Current experience with scheduling software, email, and basic office equipment.
• A genuine passion for helping people and creating a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, required
• Medical Assistant or PCA, preferred
