Senior Associate, Fixed Asset Valuation

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Fixed Asset Valuation team. This role involves supporting complex financial analyses, contributing to the development of client relationships, and assisting in the execution of various engagements.

What You’ll Be Working On:

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role on client engagements that require rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct valuations of fixed assets, including machinery & equipment, real estate improvements, infrastructure, and specialized industrial assets across a variety of industries.
• Analyze and interpret financial, operational, and market data to support tangible asset valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, financing, insurance, and strategic purposes.
• Perform valuation analyses utilizing accepted methodologies, including the Cost, Market, and Income approaches.
• Gather, validate, organize, and analyze large datasets to support accurate and defensible valuation conclusions.
• Develop detailed valuation models, assumptions, and supporting analyses in accordance with applicable accounting, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Prepare comprehensive valuation reports, presentations, and client deliverables with clear documentation of methodologies and conclusions.
• Collaborate with senior team members and clients to identify engagement objectives, data requirements, and project timelines.
• Support client engagements through research, market analysis, and industry benchmarking to enhance valuation accuracy and insights.
• Utilize data analytics and technology tools to identify trends, improve efficiency, and strengthen valuation support.
• Maintain data integrity, governance, and consistency across valuation analyses and reporting processes.
• Work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality deliverables.
• Stay informed on evolving valuation methodologies, industry trends, accounting guidance, and regulatory developments impacting fixed asset valuations.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, proposal support, and other practice growth activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field or an MBA from an accredited college/university
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in valuing tangible assets and/or related experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases)
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate findings
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal abilities
