Responsibilities:

• Interact with stakeholders for requirements
• Lead Data Model design based on requirement gathered while working with functional team
• Review functional requirements and technical specifications and document them as needed

Requirements:

Must:

• Have around 10+ years of experience on complex transformation and loading of high-volume data in terabytes
• Have good communication skills, interpersonal relations, hard working and result oriented as an individual
• Have strong knowledge of database technologies and principles, including data modeling, data mapping etc.
• Have strong experience with data analysis, troubleshooting data issue
• Be fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
• Understand the upstream business process and build Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models
• Have strong knowledge of modeling around Master Data like Assets, Organization structures and hierarchies
• Have experience in Data Modeling Tools like ERWIN, VISIO
• Have experience in Data Profiles and understanding the source systems
• Have strong SQL programming skills and strong RDBMS knowledge
• Be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies
• Work with customers to understand reporting and system integration requirements
• Coordinate of offshore work
• Have experience in designing the data mart and datawarehouse
• Demonstrate excellence in understanding the existing data models and ability to redesign them as per changing business needs
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have experience in dealing with business users and Sr. Management
• Have a strong knowledge of business intelligence design concepts, with a concentration in dimensional modeling in RDBMS
• Have a strong working knowledge of SQL
• Have worked on projects involving medium – large data warehouses
