Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP

Must-Have: 1 year of experience is required. First-timers are accepted.

Description: The Speech Language Pathologist will work in an acute care hospital setting. This position involves a daily patient load of 12-14 patients. Candidates should be proficient in the Cerner charting system. The facility is a short-term acute care unit. Staff will be expected to work 40 hours per week. Facility protocol allows for up to 6 call-offs during a 13-week assignment. Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions. Floating may occur within the facility or to nearby affiliate locations based on skills and census needs. Candidates must work 2 of the recognized holidays during the assignment. All compliance testing and lab work must be completed promptly. References from previous employers must be provided before the start date. Candidates should complete required state release forms to avoid background check delays if applicable.
