Mosquito Control Technician

Mosquito Joe is hiring entry‑level Mosquito Control Technicians. No prior experience is necessary; we provide paid training and licensing assistance where needed. This role is college student friendly and the mosquito season’s length varies by location, allowing for seasonal work. Responsibilities Conquer mosquitoes and other outdoor pests, removing and repelling them from customers’ yards and properties. Represent Mosquito Joe professionally, following company procedures to deliver excellent customer service. Maintain communication with the local office to ensure correct supplies and property assignments. Candidate Profile Enjoys working outdoors and being physically active. Values variety; each property presents unique challenges. Works independently, using strong communication skills when interacting with customers and the team. Prefers seasonal work, busy a few months a year with free time during off‑season periods. Requirements Must be able to lift and carry a 65‑lb backpack. Must be able to walk while carrying a 65‑lb backpack for extended periods. Must wear protective gear and a company uniform. Must handle summer heat. No moral qualms about pest extermination duties. Will receive on‑the‑job training and licensing support where required. Benefits & Pay Pay range: $18.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on prior experience. No nights, limited weekends, and holidays – flexible evenings and weekends. Paid training while earning money.
