SUMMARY

The Car Wash Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales and membership growth by delivering an exceptional customer experience, educating customers on wash packages and membership options, and recommending solutions that best meet their needs. This role serves as a key customer facing representatives of the business and is expected to build positive customer relationships, create a welcoming sales environment, and support efficient daily operations. RESPONSIBILTIES BY COMPETENCY:

Achieve established monthly sales and performance goals, with a focus on both new membership growth and customer retention. Support the overall success of the operation by performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Communication Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership, maintaining a professional, positive, and solution-oriented approach in all interactions. Escalate customer concerns, safety incidents, accidents, policy violations, and operational issues to management in a timely manner to minimize business disruption and support prompt resolution. Deliver a high level of customer service by actively listening, addressing concerns professionally, and providing thoughtful, effective solutions to customer questions and feedback. Immediately report customer injuries, property damage, or other incidents to management in accordance with company procedures. Partner collaboratively with team members and leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and positive customer experience. Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer focus, particularly during high volume or fast-paced operating periods. Customer Service Orientation Deliver a welcoming, professional, and timely customer experience by greeting each customer promptly and setting a positive tone for their visit. Create a strong customer experience from arrival to departure by thanking customers for their business and encouraging repeat visits. Provide exceptional customer service through personalized support, positive interactions, and a proactive approach to meeting customer needs. Educate customers on wash packages, memberships, promotions, and available services, helping them select options that best align with their needs and preferences. Apply strong attention to detail to recommend appropriate wash solutions, identify service or wash quality concerns, and enhance the overall customer experience. Build and maintain positive customer relationships, foster loyalty and engagement by recognizing returning customers and delivering a personalized experience whenever possible. Address customer concerns, questions, and feedback professionally, with a focus on service recovery, problem resolution, and overall customer satisfaction. Execute company customer service programs, service standards, and membership initiatives to support consistently high-quality customer experience. Developing Talent Complete all required training, certifications, and development programs to maintain role of readiness, operational knowledge, and compliance with company standards. Safety Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and established safe work practices, while promoting a culture of safety throughout daily operations. Complete all required safety training and maintain a working knowledge of safety expectations, operational procedures, and risk prevention practices applicable to the role. Proactively identify, address, and elevate safety concerns or operational hazards in a timely manner to help maintain a safe environment for team members and customers. Communicate unsafe conditions, behaviors, incidents, or potential risks to supervisors or management promptly, and support corrective action efforts when appropriate. Report all work related injuries, accidents, and safety incidents immediately in accordance with company reporting procedures. Educate customers, particularly first-time guests, on loading, unloading, and wash safety procedures to help ensure a safe and positive wash experience. Cooperate with medical providers, company representatives, and return to work processes as applicable following a workplace injury or incident. Operate equipment, tools, and site systems responsibly and in accordance with established procedures to minimize preventable accidents, damage, and safety risks. Technical Expertise Execute and oversee shift cleaning checklists during each shift, ensuring both interior and exterior areas of the facility are maintained to company cleanliness and presentation standards. Complete routine operational inspections and checklists to verify the proper functioning, cleanliness, and readiness of all car wash equipment and facility systems. Maintain a strong working knowledge of car wash operations, equipment, chemicals, and standard operating procedures to support safe and efficient site performance. Identify, document, and communicate equipment issues, damaged materials, or other questionable conditions to management in a timely manner to minimize operational disruption. Follow established procedures for vendor and delivery check in processes, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with site expectations. Support safe and efficient traffic flow by assisting with vehicle staging, directing customers into the wash process, and helping maintain an orderly site environment.
