The Server at Evaga Restaurant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all guests, taking food and drink orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity of customer preferences. Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely manner. Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including food ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any questions from guests. Monitor the needs of guests throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction and offering additional items or services as appropriate. Perform opening and closing side work, including restocking, cleaning, and organizing the dining area and service stations. Handle guest payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions. Follow all cleanliness and safety standards for the dining room, wait stations, and kitchen areas. Attend pre-meal meetings and training sessions to stay informed on restaurant policies and menu updates. Present a clean, professional appearance at all times, adhering to grooming and uniform standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management to maintain an efficient and positive dining environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification are required Previous bartending or customer service experience is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers. Must be at least 18 years old (or meet local legal requirements for service positions). Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and events.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is typically performed in the resort. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Elmont Social
